On Sunday, we took Maddox to The Great Pumpkin Patch in Hayden. Maddox is absolutely obsessed with pumpkins (or "paw-paws" as he calls them) so needless to say, he really enjoying running around in a field of pumpkins. We rode a covered wagon out to the patch to pick out our pumpkin. He enjoyed the wagon ride, but was eager to get to the "paw-paws". He took off running from pumpkin to pumpkin trying to pick them up. He was able to lift a few, but most of them were way too heavy.
Once Daddy picked out a good one, Maddox insisted on helping him carry it the whole way to the car. I wasn't sure Maddox was going to let it out of his sight, but he did. After we put the pumpkin in the car, we attempted to take a few more pictures with pumpkins before heading over to the petting zoo.
The zoo (if you want to call it that) was pretty lame overall. Most of the animals were way too far away to even pet, but this cool little donkey let Maddox pet him.All in all, we had some fun times at the Pumpkin Patch!
