Playing in my Monkey Gym!

Maddox has recently began to play with his toys a little more. He still can't really reach out and grab things (except accidentally) but he is realizing more and more what his little hands and feet can do. He loves to play on his little monkey activity gym. He bats the little toys hanging down with his hands and he gets really excited about it. It even laughs some when he is playing. He also LOVES to kick his legs. He is constantly kicking his legs back and forth. Perhaps this constant kicking is why all of his weight seems to be in his belly and not in his legs...haha!

Monkeying Around

We are working on Maddox's room again, trying to get it to look at cute as it did before. We (and by we I mean Blake) have started the painting process. We're still doing blue with polka dots, but we're going to try something a little different this time. Hopefully it will turn out just as cute as his last nursery did. Well the other night we were up there sketching out what we were going to do on the walls and Maddox was hanging out in his crib with a bunch of his monkeys so I just had to take some pictures of him (shocking, I know). Anyways here are a few photos of Maddox with some of his monkeys. Notice I said some, not all. He has so much monkey stuff but it is all so adorable. I just hope he ends up liking monkeys as much as his daddy did when he was little or else we're in trouble.

He was a little overwhelmed by the monkeys at first, but then he found it all to be quite funny!
