Happy Birthday, Maddox!!
Maddox is doing some very funny things these days. He does this funny thing where he shifts his eyes around and then just laughs and laughs. He has funny little expressions that he says too that sound funny coming from a two year old. He always talks about things being hot or cold and whenever you put his food in front of him and tell him it's hot he says, "Hot? Nahh". I said that one time and now he says it every time! Also the other day he bumped his leg and Blake asked him if it hurt. His response..."not so much". Cracks me up! He is also singing a lot these days. I'm going to have to try to get him on video. He loves singing You are My Sunshine, Jesus Loves Me, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, etc. It is so funny to listen to him sing because he pretty much mumbles the words and sings the last word of each line. It is very sweet!
Maddox used to be a very good eater. He used to eat pretty much anything you put in front of him. Now he seems to be boycotting meat (everything including chicken which he used to devour) amongst many other things. His foods of choice these days would be muffins (of course), cheese toast, yogurt, and waffles (avwafs as he calls them). He would literally eat these things every meal if I let him. I'm hoping he'll grow out of this stubborn phase pretty soon.
We still love our choo-choos and have accumulated more than you could even imagine. He loves playing with them on his "choo-choo table" and pretty much anywhere we go. He also loves racing around house with his fire truck. His favorite thing is to run under our legs through "tunnels" and to have his daddy race him with his dump truck. He still loves his basketball goal too and now that the weather is getting nicer he loves getting outside in the backyard. We are really looking forward to warmer weather and hoping it comes for good soon.
It is so hard to believe that two years have come and gone so quickly. We love you so much "Mad-Max" and look forward to seeing what this third year has in store for you!
